Causes of high temperature failure of hydraulic grab

n our production and life, we often use hydraulic grabs. Hydraulic grabs play a pivotal role in industrial production. Hydraulic grabs can replace manual grabbing and handling, which can be said to be very useful. The summer is hot and hot, and hydraulic grabs are prone to failures. Today, let’s take a look at the reasons for the high temperature failures of hydraulic grabs.
Excessive heating of the hydraulic system. The hydraulic system has heat, pressure overload overflow, leakage in the pump valve, etc. Specifically, the grab bucket is mainly caused by leakage in the pump valve motor, heat generated by the overflow action of the opening and closing bucket, and mechanical friction heat. Among them, the winch system is the most heat-generating. Especially the downward movement. At present, the hydraulic grab winch brake system adopts the back pressure throttling method to control the lowering speed, and most of the energy is converted into heat during the lowering of the bucket. This is the main reason for the high temperature of the hydraulic oil when digging deep grooves. Oil temperature is slow to dissipate heat. The heat dissipation of hydraulic oil is mainly through the radiator. Due to the harsh working environment, the radiator should be cleaned frequently. If possible, the radiator can be removed and cleaned. Cleaning mainly cleans the dust in the radiating fins, so that the air circulation is smooth. In addition, it should be noted that if the sponge next to the radiator is defective, it is necessary to find a way to repair it. The defect of the sponge will prevent the air from passing through the radiator and affect the heat dissipation effect. The fan belt is loose and the fan blades are defective, which will cause a small amount of air and affect heat dissipation. The internal blockage of the radiator will also affect the heat dissipation. The internal blockage of the radiator can be measured by connecting the pressure gauge at the oil inlet and outlet of the radiator. If the pressure difference is too large, the internal blockage of the radiator is indicated. The hydraulic system also has two oil return check valves, which are similar in function to a thermostat. If the check valve fails, the hydraulic oil will return directly to the tank without going through the radiator.
